Can bedwetting be the result of an allergy?

Although I'm not aware of any particular study looking at this issue, allergies can have multiple effects throughout the body, including effects on the kidney and brain. If you suspect a particular allergen, try avoiding it and see if the bedwetting improves. Consult your child's pediatrician for information about specific allergens.
