Introduction

Have you ever had ONE OF THOSE DAYS when you thought night time would just NEVER COME?!!?!??!
Well, today was ONE OF THOSE DAYS!!!!

The little boys had Drs appts this morning. I had 9am on the calendar, but had this nagging feeling I had the wrong time. I wanted to call before I left, but didn't because I would have been late had the appt been for the morning.
So we get there and checked. Had I forgotten-again-our appts were for 11:30am!??! It was only 8:20 at the time. Too late to go home, besides, I wasn't going to pay for parking twice. Once I got home, I would have had to turn right around and head back. SO we went had another breakfast since Sean was declaring very loudly he was HUNGRY again! He had eaten 4 slices of raisin bread, a bad of cereal, a bowl of eggs and who knows what else. At breakfast he ate two hash browns and just about every one elses. Five minutes later, I hear,"I am hungry again. I want more food!" I has some triskets in the diaper bag, so they were inhaled rather quickly.. BUT I hear I am STILLL HUNGRY!!!" Screaming at the top of his lungs.
Luckily, our Dr calls us back at 10 since he has some thing come up for 11:30.
Peter is in the 95% for everything. He is doing great all around but one ear. Still not cleared, but Dr not worrried. Developmentally head in all things. Back in 6mos.
Daniel is also in the 95% and doing great. Still fluid in ears, but tubes are being put in Feb/Mar.

Sean's lungs are the clearest they have ever been and his face looks fuller. He sees the surgeon on the 8th for post op. He is taken off restrictions and can hardly tell he had surgery a week ago. He still not even on the growth chart, but with the feeding tube, he will shorten the gap.

After the appts, we head to McDonalds. Sean is screaming because he doesn't have $$$$$ to pay for his fries. (new thing going on) So I give him a quarter and he "pays for his lunch. It went into the fundraising box behind his back.
We eat in the van on the way home. We get home, the boys get all comfy and into fighting with one another, my mind was going mad!
All of a sudden I hear this scream. The kind you KNOW someone is hurt. I run to find Daniel's finger, the one he had stitched up over the summer, stuck in a can of fruit. I am guessing my dad opened it up and just put in the frig this way. The lid was till attached and digging into Daniel's finger. He is busy doing everything he knows to get if off, but just makes the cut worse. I finally bend the lid, so he could take his finger out. BLood everywhere and just would not stop after 20 mins of pressure. I get out my first aid kit, make a pressure bandage. I had to get every one redressed and into the van so we could go BACK TO THE HOSPITAL! we hadn't even been home 45mins!
We get there, shoved into a room full of sick children coughing all over Sean! Finally I get a nurse and ask when! Since they know us and Sean. they moved us to a private room to stitch up Daniel's finger. The resident did 5 stitches after Daniel was sedated, barely affected him and his finger numb. He watched the whole thing. He loved having an IV because, "I am like Sean!" he hasn't taken the leads off yet, because he is like Sean! They are taped, so nothing will happen to him while he sleeps. He did great and the sedation made him very hyper. He did crash when he went to bed.
We got home the same time Daddy did.
They proceed to fight and argue until bedtime. UGH!

Peter when to sleep on his own. He was fighting me about it. He pointed to his bed, something new. I put him down and was instantly asleep.

I need to be getting while I can walk. I am not typing so grand., Sorry!''

Hpapy newyear!
