Introduction

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas! What a great Christmas it was. The kids had so much fun. Talk about spoiled! I think each of them had about 20 presents to open. I started about a week before letting them open little things one at a time so that everything got it's fair share of being played with before it was on to the next thing! It worked out well. A lot of the other toys were discarded after Santa arrived! :0)

I was really happy with the selection of toys this year though. Almost everything was a huge hit with the kids. Alex's favorite toy is his Legos. Victoria is in love with her Poo-Chi! As soon as she opened it, she yelled, "Oh, my God! It's the dog from the commercial!" Ha ha. After that, we had to coax her to open her other toys.

The Baskin and Robbins Ice Cream maker has been a huge hit! I'm so glad. It requires a lot more than just the ice cream mixes though. I wish I had known that ahead of time. But, they still love it. The other huge toy they received is the ten-in-one game table. Now that thing is neat! It has pool, foosball, basketball, racketball, ping pong, air hockey, shuffleboard and others. That is one toy that will be around for a long time!

Christmas Eve was lots of fun. Peter got up on the roof and pounded around yelling, "Ho, ho ho!" Alex ran to his bed while Victoria screamed, "Santaaaaa!" up the chimney. It was hilarious. Alex was so scared and Victoria was right in there wanting attention! Typical! Ha ha. Then we pretended to see Santa peeking in the windows! That got a big reaction! Finally, they fell asleep and I set out the toys. I put the stockings together and went to set them on their beds. Well, I opened the door and Alex was sitting up in bed looking at me! Aaaaahh!!! I quickly put the stockings down and went and tucked him in. I'm sure he heard the whole thing but was too scared to get out of bed! He did get out of bed about 45 minutes later. I had to pretend I was sleeping on the chair and didn't hear Santa! :0) All in all, it was a wonderful Christmas season!

I hope each and every one of you had a great holiday and all the best in 2001! I know a bunch of my friends have had a pretty rough year and I sure hope things turn around in the New Year. Actually, I know they will! :0) Happy New Year!!! The best is yet to come.

Keep smiling!

Paris, Alex and Toria :0)
