Jonnah's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

Introduction

Anthony got spoiled for Christmas. We got him his desk and all the accessories. He loves it. The first day he painted a few pictures and then laid them on my desk to dry. He says, "This is what the artist do." Meaning that they lay their paintings out to dry. I just don't know where I am going to hang all these new creations. lol Anthony also got a bunch of new clothes and a music set from an Aunt that lives far away. I threatened to send him home with her for that one, but she was all for it. She hates living so far away. She would love to see the boys every day. I feel bad for relatives that don't get to see the kids a lot. We do live near a lot of family now though, so there are not many that don't get to see them.

Anthony went to spend the weekend with his grandma Kate. Dh's mom in Bend. We are going to go up on Monday and have lunch with Matt's grandpa and bring Anthony back home. I hate to be away from him, but it is so much more peaceful around here. Both my other boys are sleeping and it seems that I get a lot more done during the day. Oh well, just think, next year he will be in school. He will be gone four days a week for three hours a day. What will I do with myself then?

I am going to be taking Anthony to preschool full time again. He loves to go up there. I would just like to see them doing a few more activities. It seemed like they were, so I started taking him back up there and then they started slacking off again. Maybe it is Anthony who has the problem? I know he needs a lot of attention, maybe he is disturbing the class and the teacher can't handle him. I don't want to have a disruptive child that none of the teachers like. I would hate that if he got into a lot of trouble at school. I know that since we got the chore chart going again he has been great. I make him have quiet time. Since he got his desk he spends quiet time painting or working in his preschool books. He loves to write and wants me to teach him all the letters. He makes me write all our families names down everyday and he practices them. He can copy anything I write down for him. It is too cute. He is growing up way too fast.

Well, I guess I will end on that good note. Take care!
