Introduction
Hi everyone,
Boy, I have been having a very busy week! One of my best friends asked me to be her maid of honor and we've been going wedding crazy ever since! I love it. This week I have two plays, two parties, one Christmas shopping outing, one bridal gown shopping adventure and I still need to figure out how to spend time with my husband! LOL!
Justin came down with the stomach flu Monday morning. He was only sick for about 5 hours, so I was grateful. This is the first time he's ever been able to tell me when he was going to throw up before he did. I'm bummed, though, because he missed his OT appointment on Monday and now his therapist is going to be gone for nearly three weeks. I was just getting ready to ask her to work more on his sensory stuff, too.
Chris (my 7-year-old) is still having some major jealousy issues with all of the special treatment Justin gets. Plus it always seems we expect more from him than we should. It's just so hard to have him blatantly ignoring me or disobeying when I know he knows better than that. With Justin, it's hard to get mad when he acts up because you never know when it's a sensory thing or a typical 4-year-old thing. I've been trying to explain more about Justin's issues to Chris, but I'm not sure it's making him feel better.
Well, I have tons of work to do and then I need to go Christmas shopping, so this will be a short entry.
Happy holidays, everyone!
