Introduction
A great big Merry Christmas to you all. We hope that you had as wonderful a Christmas as we did. I can honestly say that it was one of the best we have ever had. On Christmas Eve we had a blast with the kids. Playing games, singing songs and then we watched some videos of mom as a little girl. It made Nanny and Papa feel so much closer to us. Then we had a long chat with them on the computer. IT WAS GREAT! Before bed we all sat in the living room and listened to the story of baby Jesus being born. The greatest thing about that was that Autumn and Gabriel not only knew the story, but they knew details. It was so precious! We decided to let them sleep with us last night. Gabe says that it makes morning come quicker when he can sleep with dad! LOL
This morning we awoke to "HEY LET'S OPEN THE PRESENTS"!!!!! Two 5-year-olds running through the house is enough to get anyone out of a dead sleep. So, all the presents were opened and they were a bit overwhelmed with all that they got. They kept grabbing things and saying "OK, let's open this now"! It was so awesome to see them so happy and also so grateful for all that they got.
So, after picking up a ROOM FULL of wrapping paper, we headed to Grandpa and Mema's house. They had more presents for everyone and a wonderful Christmas dinner.
Mommy is really looking forward to having the next two weeks off to spend with the family. We have been so busy rearranging the house and getting things in order. We are about to get very busy in many areas of our lives and I have decided that it would be better to stop writing this diary. I will continue a weekly diary at home for my children. But as far as online, I will be done next week. My last entry will be on here for New Years. We want to wish all of you a wonderful new year and may God bless everyone.
Take care,
Mark, Jennifer, Autumn, Gabriel and Matthew
