Introduction
It’s New Year’s Eve once again. I don’t know where this year went, but it really passed by quickly. It’s probably because the boys and I have all been in school. I see the time flying by us from here on out. Their childhood may pass by quicker than I expect. For that reason, I am glad, once again, that I am keeping this journal. That way, if I ever forget about days or weeks that might fade, I can read about all of it in detail!
I don’t normally do a year-in-review, because really, it’s all here to read about! (LOL) I do have to say, though, that it has been a very fruitful and productive year. My boys started school and are learning so much; I started school and will be done on the 14th of January! It only took 9 months for me to get through a one-year program, and now I will be looking for a job; and, last but not least, my husband got his promotion and is running the Papa John’s here.
Ok so let’s see: What was my favorite thing that happened this year? I really have two:
~ Starting school and making that decision to change careers (and to go back to work.)
~ Buying our dog, Bailey!
Both of those things were big changes in our lives, but I don’t regret them one bit. I have loved school, found out where I want to go eventually, and I have loved getting my FIRST puppy (the boys’ first too) and training it. Both have been equally hard, but I really had fun doing it.
I guess that’s all for now. Have a WONDERFUL New Year! Until next time,
Heather, Ben & Chris
