It's just hot.

We have entered the hottest time of the year here in the south, and I must admit, between hubby having chronic back pain, and checking that all paper work and other final procedures are met before the start of preschool does not have me in the mood for summer fun.
We have been under water restrictions for about two months now, and our garden is dead. So for the fall our patio area will be very plane.
Ash is in rare form, the back talk of an almost five year-old is as unnerving to the senses as nails on a chalk board, and hubby adds to the shortening of my fuse.
But then I remember the big picture, and with Ash's current personality she is destine to be a lawyer. And since she will hopefully care for me when I am old, I wish her well.
