Crayola Crayon Costume
Next, draw out the Crayola letters onto paper. If you have a word processor, try finding a font that looks like the one used on the real Crayola crayons, then enlarge it. Print out a sheet of these letters and use them as your pattern. You may have to experiment with sizes before you find one that will fit just right. You want the letters to be fairly close together, and to take up the entire length of the oval. (See photo). Lay the letters on the colored fabric and trace them on. Cut them out and use wonder under to stick them onto the oval. The Crayola label is done!
Boot Covers: 
The boot covers are made from the remaining felt. Measure your child's shoes or boots (NOT your child's foot) from heel to toe. Next, draw a large boot shape onto a piece of paper, making sure it is about 1 inch too big. Once you have a pattern that looks right when held up to the boot, draw the pattern onto the four remaining pieces of felt. Cut the boot shapes out and pair two together, and the other two together. Sew a 1/2-inch seam from the tip of the boot up to the ankle line, and then stitch the back of the boot cover. (See diagram.) 
Your child should be able to slip them over the boots, leaving the bottom and top open. Next, measure the width of the top of the boot cover and multiply it by two. Cut a 1 1/2-inch strip of black material, using that measurement. Then copy the squiggle pattern onto the remaining colored material until you have a squiggle line that is as long as the black strip. Attach the black strip onto the top of each boot cover with wonder under and then attach the colored squiggle. This should look just like what you did to the hat. The boot covers are done!

I think it is really cute and so now my kids won't be cold when they are trick or treating!!

so cute! now when i take hayden trick or treating he can fill his pockets with candy when he runs out of room in his bag! HEHEHEHE! ~Cindy~
