A Millennium Baby For the Berenstain Bears
By Donna Smith
"Our next First Time Book is titled, The Berenstain Bears and the Big Blooper. It will deal with the burgeoning problem of children (and cubs) picking up bad language here, there and everywhere (the school bus, the media) and bringing it home."
The Birds, The Bees and The Berenstain Bears ends without letting us know if Sister Bear has another brother or a sister. Readers will get a chance to take an active role in naming the little one in a contest.
Here are just a few Berenstain Bear's books you can enjoy reading to, and with, your child:
- The Berenstain Bears and Mama's Job When Mama turns her quilt-making hobby into a business, the Bear family worries that she won't have time for them. When everyone pitches in to help her, they realize that things aren't so different after all -- and they're more proud of Mama than ever.
- The Berenstain Bears and the Sitter Left with a babysitter for the first time, Brother and Sister Bear are certain they won't like her. With her bag of tricks and comforting way of tucking them in, Mrs. Grizzle soon wins them over.
- The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Junk Food Mama Bear lays down the law when she notices that Papa and the cubs are getting too chubby. With the help of Dr. Grizzly's slide show on how the body works, the Bear family makes healthful adjustments in their diet and fitness habits.
