No More Kissing

By Emma Chichester Clark A Review By Margaret O'Hair

Pages:  1  2

No more kissingPerhaps you fell in love with Clark's beautiful artwork and easy prose with her first book, I Love You, Blue Kangaroo. Perhaps you have a child under 8 years old. If the answer to either of the above is "yes," then do I have a book for you!

"Why does there have to be so much kissing?" wonders Momo the monkey. Momo does not like kissing! He thinks there is too much kissing everywhere. He even thinks it should never have been invented!

When Momo's baby brother is born, he won't stop crying! The parents kiss him and try to make it better. The relatives kiss him and try to make it better. Nothing works.

"Stop!" says Momo, telling them all that the baby doesn't like the kissing. But after they stop, the baby keeps screaming his head off.

Momo juggles bananas. He entertains his little brother until the sobbing stops. Finally, the baby smiles, and Momo ends up kissing the baby himself. He is such a proud big brother! He just can't help it!
